We are located in the beautiful valley of Ellerburn. The campsite is set in two acres on our working-farm only five minutes from the village of Thornton-Le-Dale. We run from March to October with 30 pitches available for tents, caravans and motor homes. Duke of Edinburgh groups are very welcome.
THESE RULES ARE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOURSELF AND OTHERS.
ANYONE FOUND BREAKING THE RULES WILL BE TOLD TO LEAVE AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
SOCIAL DISTANCING must be adhered to at all times. Please respect one another’s space.
HAND SANTIZER MUST BE USED upon entering the campsite and when using shared facilities – the drinking water tap, post wash area, chemical disposal point and gray waste water point, and when coming to reception.
DRINKING TAP WATER IS FOR DRINKING ONLY. Do not use the drinking water tap for washing your hands, brushing your teeth, cleaning muddy shoes, etc.
CARAVANS, MOTORHOMES AND CAMPERVANS MUST BE 6 METERS APART for fire safety.
RUBBISH MUST BE BAGGED. Use the bin near the main gate for all rubbish, recycling, tins, glass and plastic.
ARRIVAL TIME IS FROM 2PM AND DEPARTURE TIME IS 11:30AM AT THE LATEST. You will be charged an extra night for departure after 11:30am.
FIREPITS AND BBQs MUST BE OFF THE GROUND and extinguished by 10pm with no exceptions.
METAL ASH BINS are for fire and BBQ ash. Do not put ash on the grass or in the river.
NO NOISE AFTER 10pm as we have small children camping.
MAXIMUM SPEED 5MPH. Walk to the toilet block area, do not drive.
STRICTLY NO ACCESS TO THE FARMYARD AT ANY TIME.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN CHILDREN. Children are welcome to play on the campsite but please respect other people's space and property.
ALL DOGS TO BE KEPT ON SHORT LEADS AT ALL TIMES. Dog owners must clean up after their dog.
DO NOT CUT DOWN ANY TREES. Logs are available from Reception along with firepits.
All belongings and cars are left at the owners' risk. We are not responsible for any accidents, theft or damage that occurs during your stay.
