We are open from Saturday 4th July
We opened on Saturday 4th July but we can only accept bookings for caravans, camper vans and motor homes. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate tents because of the risk of Covid-19 from shared toilets and shower facilities.
Caravans, camper vans and motor homes must be self-sufficient with their own toilet and shower. There is a water tap, chemical disposal point and waste water facilities available on site but the shower and toilet block remains locked and out-of-use at all times. There are hand sanitizing stations available and social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
The roads to/from the campsite and the campsite entrance are straight-forward and provide easy-access for caravans, camper vans and motor homes.
Group bookings will not be accepted and visitors to the site are not be permitted. Our self-contained static caravan will be not available for hire.
We will only be open to 50% capacity so every unit has plenty of space. Fire pits and logs will still be available but we won't be selling any of our homemade burgers or sausages, and nor will guests be able to use the campsite freezer.
Arrival, sign-in, payment and departure will be contact-less to protect our campers, ourselves and Ellerburn residents.
If you have Covid-19 symptoms, please do not come to the campsite and self-isolate as per Government guidelines.
Pre-booked pitches only, please do not come to the campsite unless you have made a booking.
We offer a very warm welcome at Low Farm in the beautiful valley of Ellerburn, near Dalby Forest, where time stands still. We are a working-farm and we have been the new owners since 2016. We welcome onto our campsite those who love the countryside, enjoy nature, walking, mountain-biking and relaxing. We are dog-friendly and a gentle 15 minute stroll along the beck to Thornton Dale.
We run from March to October with 30 pitches available for tents, caravans and motor homes. Please note we do not have any electrical hook up points. There is a shower and toilet block, chemical point and a pot wash area.
We often fund-raise for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with a Rubber Duck Race down the beck for everyone to enjoy.
Fire pits are available for hire from Reception. Logs, fresh farm eggs, and locally produced burgers and sausages are also available.
Please feel free to get in contact with us if you have any questions, we are happy to help.
